O’Connor * Telezinski
was founded in December of
2005 with the goal of providing high-quality legal
representation to public and private employers in
workers’
compensation,
employment law, and business
litigation matters. We offer

The firm consists
of two partners and an

support staff. We focus
on providing counseling and
litigation services to employers, insurance carriers, and
third party
administrators while we have developed a
reputation for professionalism,
innovation, and client
satisfaction. We defend all aspects of workers'
compensation
claims including 132a discrimination
claims and claims for serious and willful
misconduct. The
firm maintains a state-of-the-art computer
system, which will be
able to transition to a
paperless system under EAMS.
The firm makes it a point to learn about their clients’
particular needs. They have developed
expertise
in handling issues arising under the California
Education Code, as
well as workers’ compensation
issues particular to law enforcement and other
safety officers. Ms. O’Connor and Mr.
Telezinski also
hold the Associate in Risk Management for Public
Entities (ARM-P) designation.
Carrie C.
O’Connor graduated from
a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1992. She
then graduated from
Western State
University College of Law in
obtained her
license to practice law in 1995. Ms. O’Connor began the
practice of law
by representing businesses in general business law matters as
a partner in her
own firm, O’Connor and Wente, which operated for six
years. Ms. O’Connor successfully
represented
numerous private businesses
in contract reviews and negotiation, business
formation, mergers, and
litigation. In 2002, Ms. O’Connor became an
associate with Serembe,
Bakke & Seaman, a San Bernardino law firm devoted
to defending
workers’ compensation claims, where she primarily represented
permissibly
self-insured public and private entities, as
well as insurance carriers. In
2005, Ms. O’Connor resumed ownership of her own
firm, O’Connor * Telezinski,
with Joseph C.
Telezinski, Jr. as
her partner.
grade school. Mr. Telezinski has more than six years
of business
management experience prior to becoming an attorney and holds a Bachelor
of Business Administration degree. He ranked
third in his class at the time
he
graduated from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton,
California,
in 2000. He obtained his license
to practice law that same year,
and became an associate at Serembe, Bakke &
Seaman, a San Bernardino
law firm devoted to defending workers’ compensation claims, where he
primarily represented permissibly self-insured public and private
entities, as
well as insurance carriers. In 2005, Mr. Telezinski
joined with Carrie C.
O’Connor to form O’Connor *
Telezinski. He is certified as a
specialist in
workers’ compensation law by the State Bar of
California Board of
Specialization. He also is the author
and presenter of the Wickstrom
Insurance & Risk Training Center’s
California Workers’ Compensation
Series
for claims professionals.
